EGLL will be hosting its annual Evaluation Day @EGHS on Saturday March 29th, 2025.
Baseball Schedule:
11 - 12's 9:00 - 10:45am (Check in 9:00 - 9:15am)
9 - 10's 11:00 - 12:45pm (Check in 11:00 - 11:15am)
8's 1:00 - 2:30pm (Check in 1:00 - 1:15pm)
There will NOT be a softball evaluation

The evaluation day is geared for boys baseball players only, ages 8-12 year old. There will not be a softball evaluation session in 2025.
Younger levels of play (age 4-7) and Jr./Sr. baseball (13's-16's) are not required to attend and will be placed on a team in mid April by the division directors.

Evaluation Day Schedule: Check in at the entrance of lower gym at the High School 15 minutes prior to your session start time
11/12's (5th & 6th Grade):
- Session Time: 9:00 - 10:45AM
9/10's (3rd & 4th gade):
- Session Time: 11:00 - 12:45PM
Boys 8's (2nd Grade):
- Session Time 1:00 - 2:45PM
WHAT TO BRING: Bring your glove, helmet, bat and sneakers. NO CLEATS. If you don't a have a bat or helmet there will be extras available.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Players will be divided into several groups and will rotate through stations performing different drills including infield, outfield, running, throwing, and hitting. Expect each session to last approximately 60-75 minutes. Please note that parents will not be allowed inside the Evaluation areas unless assisting at a station.
WHAT IS SKILL EVALUATION: Skills Evaluation results are used by EGLL to help the Managers draft balanced teams at the AAA and Majors level. AA players will be place on a team by the Division Director. Around 150 players will be evaluated at 5 different skills stations by volunteer evaluators including: Pitching, Hitting, Infield, Outfield and Speed. A basic scoring system is used to help inform our managers and division directors on player abilities, with the ultimate goal of creating balanced teams throughout our AAA and Majors divisions.
